The Wilf Ward Family Trust is thrilled to announce the launch of its latest initiative, the “Roots of Growth” campaign, in collaboration with The Woodland Trust. This campaign signifies a significant step towards promoting sustainability and community engagement within our organisation.
The “Roots of Growth” campaign is more than just about planting trees; it symbolises our collective journey towards personal and communal development. With each tree representing a seed of potential, we aim to cultivate resilience and progress within The Wilf Ward Family Trust community.
During the week commencing 11th March, over 400 trees were dispatched to every service and each individual we support, along with planting cards. Whether it’s planting a tree in a large pot or exploring planting locations suggested by The Woodland Trust, there were various ways for individuals to get involved in this meaningful initiative. Additionally, our team is available to assist in arranging suitable planting locations for those in need.
Trees offer numerous benefits to our environment and community, from improving air quality to providing habitat for wildlife. Furthermore, they serve as powerful symbols of growth, resilience, and optimism for the future.
As we enter a new financial year, this initiative reflects our commitment to sustainability. Just as the trees symbolise slow, steady, and determined growth, so too does our strategic approach to the year ahead.
