Lewis lives at one of our York services and he is a big footie fan. He recently started a voluntary role working for York City FC! He is a York City fan himself, so working at the Club ground during matches has been a dream come true for him.

His job includes selling programmes and raffle tickets to the match attendees, and guiding the away fans to the right entrance. His favourite part is chatting to the home fans of course!

Lewis loves his job, and he has made some new friends there too. His new colleagues and York City players welcomed him and said he’s a wonderful addition to the team. It’s truly uplifting to see how this experience is helping Lewis to become more confident, empowered and independent. This achievement is an inspiration to us all to pursue dreams and ambitions, we are very proud of Lewis!
