The Wilf Ward Family Trust proudly attended the esteemed Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care (WAGs) Awards on November 21st. Recognising outstanding contributions and initiatives in the social care sector, the event was a remarkable showcase of innovation, dedication, and excellence.

Our team had the honour of being shortlisted for four prestigious awards. While we didn’t clinch victory in all categories, our very own Marie Macdonald was highly commended for the Equality and Diversity Award—an accolade that highlights our unwavering commitment to fostering inclusivity and equality within our organisation.

Although the night didn’t bring home multiple trophies, it felt like a triumph for us. The atmosphere was charged with positivity and inspiration, surrounded by passionate individuals driving significant change in the social care landscape.

The WAGs Awards served as an uplifting reminder of the incredible strides and collective efforts across the sector. Witnessing numerous inspirational stories and initiatives reinforced our dedication to excellence and innovation in our practices at The Wilf Ward Family Trust.

At our core, it’s not just about winning awards, but about our ongoing commitment to enhancing the lives of those we support. We’re immensely proud to have participated in such a prestigious event and extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners and nominees who continue to make remarkable strides in social care.

The event reaffirmed our belief in the power of collective dedication and innovation, motivating us to continue striving for excellence in our services. We’re thrilled to have been a part of the WAGs Awards and look forward to future opportunities that challenge us to grow, innovate, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we support.
