The Wilf Ward Family Trust is delighted to announce that we have been selected as one of the three fortunate beneficiaries of the Skipton Building Society’s Community Giving scheme, an initiative designed to support local charities and not-for-profit community groups that make a significant impact in their respective areas.
The Community Giving scheme is a testament to Skipton Building Society’s commitment to giving back to the communities it serves. Each branch in the Skipton network selects three deserving local organisations to receive cash donations, and we are thrilled to be one of the chosen groups this year. This recognition reflects the dedication and hard work of our team and supporters in striving to make a difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and their families.
Starting from Monday 18th September 2023, customers visiting Skipton Building Society’s Ripon branch will have a unique opportunity to make a real difference in their community. Over a four-week period, customers can cast their votes for their favourite charity or community group from the three options presented. The organisation with the most votes will receive a generous cash donation of £500, with £300 for the runner-up and £200 for the remaining worthy cause. Voting will conclude on Friday 13th October 2023, at 4:30 pm.
